Originally hailing from O'Fallon, IL., Cindy Owen, is an OU alumnus with a Bachelor's Degree in Music. She also earned a Master of Divinity Degree with Collegiate Ministry emphasis from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Just after college, Cindy served on staff with the OU BSU as a semester intern. She then worked as the Youth Ministry Associate at FBC, O'Fallon, IL from January 2001 to August of 2003. She now serves as Women's Minister at the BSU, as well as working with Alex and Kim Miller to reach students living in the Walker Dormitory and the Cate & Honor Dormitories.
To Cindy, the perfect afternoon would be sipping Kenyan tea while listening to great jazz music and reading a book. She also would be happy spending a day in the park with her nieces and nephews!
