Alex and Kim Miller, originally from Sugar Land and Garland, Texas, respectively, meet while attending Texas Tech University. In 2000, Alex earned a Bachelors of Science in Human Development from TTU while Kim earned a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism. The couple continued their education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where Alex earned his MDiv in 2006 and Kim earned a Master of Christian Education in 2005.
Kim previously served as an intern at First Baptist Church, Lubbock, from 2000-2002. The couple also served as the leaders of the College Ministry at Hope Church in Fort Worth Texas from 2005-2006. The Millers joined the OU staff in August of 2006, and now lead a Ministry Team of upperclassmen focused on reaching students in Walker Tower and Cate/Honors Dormitories. They have two wonderful little girls. Being three years old, Kylie claims the title of the big sister and Katelyn is the little one, born in June 2008.
Alex enjoys spending time with Kim, Kylie and Katelyn, riding his bike, eating fajitas, grilling stuff, and reading. Kim enjoys time with Alex, Kylie, Katelyn, and their dog Jake, as well as decorating, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and meeting new people.
