Michelle was born and raised in Tucson, AZ and graduated from The University of Arizona in May 2008 with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry. While in college, Michelle was involved in discipling women, leading Bible studies, participating in summer training programs, and overseas projects. Since graduating from college, she has moved to Norman, OK to join God in the work He is doing at OU.
Michelle helps with the ministry team focused on reaching the Adams, Commuters, and International Students, with Dick & Nancy Jaques and Anissa Burnley. She has had the opportunity to spend two summers overseas and during her time overseas, God has been faithful to show just a glimpse of His heart for the nations and for all people to come to know Him. Michelle is excited to see God continue to develop in her a heart for the nations and for other college students to be involved in reaching the nations right here from OU!
She is passionate about living life one-on-one with other college women and is so excited about coming alongside students in their walk with God! She loves being able to share experiences and the faithfulness and goodness of God with others! She is also passioante about sharing the love of Christ with International students and to help them see that God has created them uniquely, He loves them deeply, and has great plans for them! She is excited to see students grow in their understanding of His heart for the nations and to see that they play a specific and important role in reaching the nations! More than that, Michelle loves seeing people come into a deeper and more intimate relationship with Jesus daily and that what drives them to love others is Jesus in them!
Michelle loves spending quality time with friends and family! She loves to laugh and go on adventures! When not with friends, you can probably find her journaling all her thoughts away, reading a good book with a nice cup of coffee, or thinking about running...which usually just doesn't happen!
